Does the house have Internet?
Yes, we have a high speed very reliable wireless Internet connection. It even works sitting poolside.
2.
Is there a caretaker? Just someone we can call if we need to?
Yes, we have a local agent on the Isla.
She can handle any thing during your stay and should you want to arrange any excursions Xhel Ha, Xcaret etc she can arrange these for you at a good rate.

Is there someone we can pay for maid service?
ALL bookings include regular maid service.
4.
How secure is the house?
We have a 6-8’ wall around the house. There are plenty of outdoor lights. The area is well lit. All windows have locks and backup poles. There has never been a break in of Casa M.

Do the balcony's overlook the ocean?
The dining terrace has views of the Caribbean sea and the roof terrace has views of both the Caribbean sea and the Bay of Mujeres - it's high enough to see both sides of the island. The living room terrace has views of the Caribbean Sea, Sunrises, the famous Conch Shell house and 500 yr old Mayan ruins.

Are there laundry facilitites at the house?
There is no washing machine at the house, although we do supply an iron, but there are numerous launderettes both in downtown Isla and in the Colonia district

Can I flush toilet paper?
Yes, we specifically designed the house plumbing so that you just flush paper as normal.Please dont flush diapers or sanitary towels though as this may overload the system and you may become liable for paying a plumber to fix it.

Can you arrange transfers to and from the airport for us?

What do I do with the garbage?
Please dispose of waste to the outside bin daily.

What sorts of Critters might I expect to find on Isla?
We do live in a tropical jungle and so have our fair share of neighbours!You can expect to see humming birds and of course butterflies (mariposas) in the garden and geckos around the house (particularly in the stair turret and we have two that live behind the sun mask on the dining terrace) and we often have a green parrot in the tree in the front yard. We also have a squirrel which will take crackers from your hand (we think someone abandoned him). There are snakes on the island but none are poisonous. There are also small scorpions which are nocturnal and who normally live under rocks. A scorpion sting is akin to a bee sting and should be treated as such. If you find any ants in the house there are several cans of spray under the kitchen counter in order to deal with this but the maids treat the house before you arrive.

Can I rent DVD's?
Yes, you can rent DVD’s down in Centro, just ask our Agent for directions

Is the house suitable for guests with a disability?
Due to the nature of the house construction we do not think that the house would be suitable for guests with certain walking disabilities or those persons confined to a wheelchair or other type of mobility aid.
